How Stretching helps build Healthy Feet
On average, a person a person will walk an estimated 150,000 miles in their lifetime. When it comes to our feet, we demand a lot from them and use them extensively every single day which is why it is important to stretch your feet to protect your health.
Some of the most common foot problems such as Plantar Fasciitis, Achilles Tendonitis, and Posterior Tibial Tendonitis can be prevented by stretching. Most foot exercises are simple and easy to do and increase the range of motion in the feet.
When it comes to stretching, here are our recommendations:
Focus on major muscles groups such as your feet, calves, hips
hold stretches for 30 seconds
use exercises such as calf and heel stretches, towel stretches, toe curls
avoid bouncing as it can tear and/or tighten muscles
