3 Important Foot Tips For Fall
As temperatures become colder and we put our sandals away, here are 3 tips to help your with your feet:
1. Wear comfortable boots
As you switch from sneakers and sandals to boots, make sure that your boots fit properly as well. Tight boots can decrease blood flow, which makes it harder for your feet to stay warm and be at risk of frostbite. Your autumn boots should be supportive and stable especially on wet grounds.
2. Keep Your Feet Dry
As the weather gets colder and you change into thicker, woolly socks, make sure that your feet don’t sweat too much. If they do, keep foot powder on hand. Damp, cold feet are prone to bacterial infections so wear socks that take moisture away.
3. Take Care Of Your Skin
Wash your feet every day to prevent bacteria, and also keep your feet moisturized after showers. Colder weather can severely dry out your skin which can cause painful cracks and can lead to infections.
