How to Find the Right Shoe

When it comes to finding proper footwear, it’s important to find shoes that are comfortable, breathable and cater towards what they will be used for. Here are our recommendations on finding the perfect shoe fit:

  1. Fit your shoe to your larger foot: Many people have one foot that’s larger than the other so use your bigger foot as a baseline to the shoe size you will choose.

  2. The ball of your foot should fit comfortably in the widest part of the shoe

  3. Depth matters: Your shoes should have enough depth to ensure that your toes do not rub the top of it.

  4. Gap also matters: when standing up with your shoes on, it’s important to make sure you have a 1/2 inch between your longest toe and the front of the shoe.

  5. Avoid wear and tear: always inspect your shoes regularly to ensure they can provide the support you need. Repair, recycle, or toss out when appropriate.
